I love the Christina Cooks Show for educating me about proper nutrition. Now I appreciate it even more for letting me know about a funny, poetic, clear-eyed troubadour with a clear, smooth voice and an easy sense rhythm: Jon Michaels. I like the fact that you are a muscle bound vegetarian with a gentle touch on the guitar. I can't think of anything nicer than dining in one of my favorite vegan cafes here in Chicago while watching you perform on stage. Intimate settings would seem to be the best for you - or perhaps I'm spoiled from having only seen you in Christina's kitchen. Right! Maybe in a larger venue you would have an opportunity to really belt out some ROCK 'N ROLL! Either way, if you come to Chicago, I promise I'll do all I can to meet you here. - PEACE -

I have two questions: 1) I live in California and notice your concert dates are pretty much in the east. Do you ever come out this way? 2) I notice several of your concert dates are at churches. HI Jon: I thought I'd share another poem with you that I wrote sometime back, but it made me think of your singing nad music... Been There Done That I've tasted great champagne, And I've walked out in the rain I've been there and done that. I've cried many a tear, And have grinnned from ear to ear, Been there, done that. I've wandered beside the sea And sniffed some potpourri, Been there, done that. I've written many a poem Not knowing where I was going, Been there, done that. I've sung out loud and strong, and my friends are seldom gone Been there,done that. I've traveled near and far, And played an acoustic guitar Been there, done that. I've given away my heart And then it fell apart, I've been there, done that. I've gazed upon many a star And put berries in a jar, I've been there, done that. Unfortunately I can't take advantage of your invitation to join you and Christina at the World Cafe due to the fact that I'm not driving right now. I am still recovering from the stoke I had last year at this time but I apprieciate the inivitation.
