Hi, I saw your post on the Single Moms board, as I co-host it from my website Artemis http://survivorsofdv.website-works.com. It really is an amazing song which no doubt will go over quite well with the media. At least I hope it will. You really seem to have an understanding of what your mom went through. It is nice to not hear something negative, as in anger of father not being around, and blaming mom for that. We think fathers get the worst rap, but it is us mothers who have to raise our darlings even though they blame us and put their anger on us for not having their father around and even when they know their father wasn't a good or safe choice. So I appreciate it that you were kind to your mother and had a sense of what she is going through. She sounds like one tough woman and my guess is that you were proud to have her as your mother. And I am positive she is proud of you!
